Support education for women means teaching merely gender theory or women's studies. It also is necessary for it to be performed as an action of the whole university and a system of the curricula to support women long term. I performed documental research, and questionary surveyed to the students and graduates of Otsuma Women's University about a new concept called "Support education for women" to re-define the social positioning of women's universities. This article and ""Support education for women" and higher education system : From research to students and graduates of Otsuma Women's University. Part 2" which is a sequel of this article aimed at analyzing items related to gender theory / women's studies and offer basic data to "Support education for woman" from "basic research about "Support education for women"". "Basic research about "Support education for women"" was performed to 457 students and 301 graduates. Germs of changes of personal relationships were introduced to them by having taken classes in gender theory. Methods of society recognition, changes of the sense of values for related inequity were also taught. In addition, there were many students who felt uneasiness about the vision of the future by having taken these classes. This is the discovery of a new problem to solve. The evaluation of the classes on gender theory may relate to the number of years after graduation. The possibility that "Support education for women" must be planned with a long term view is shown. "Support education for woman" can offer big influences to courses receiving information and changes of consciousness for female students as a thing with character of "Bildungsroman". The main focal point bought in gender theory as "support education for women" is to show thought and policy how it is necessary in induction of the reclamation of the information course, detonation of the doubt, anger, and uneasiness, and cancellation of those stages mainly in relations of the society, love / marriage, a field of the working.
